Losing weight
The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi index weight loss regime is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a list of foods and a score representing the speed with which the glucose of the food type gets converted to glucose in your system. The believe is that slow acting food types (ie those with a low Glycaemic score), suppress your appetite for longer and help you to consume fewer food without craving snacks all the time.
It is also especially beneficial for folk with diabetes, as the low GI foods are beneficial in reducing surges in glucose amount.
