The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index weight loss regime is based on the glycaemic index, a list of foods and a score illustrating the ease that the glucose and energy of the food type gets changed to sugar in the dieters blood stream. The theory is that long-acting foods (ie with a low Glycaemic score), keep you feeling full longer and mean that you can eat fewer food without craving snacks all the time.
It's also extremely beneficial for diabetics, as the low GI types of food are helpful in controlling increases in blood glucose levels.

1 lb Powdered Sugar

1/2 c Butter or Margarine

4 Chocolate Squares, melted

4 Eggs, well beaten

1 ts Vanilla

1 1/2 c Flour

1 c Walnuts, chopped

Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add melted chocolate and vanilla, beat well. Add eggs and stir in flour. Fold in nuts. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
