The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index diet is reliant on the gi index, a chart showing foods and a score representing the speed that the carbs of the food gets transformed to glucose in the dieters system. The theory is that long-acting food types (ie with a low Gi score), keep you satisfied for a longer period of time and help you to injest less food without feeling you are missing out.
It's also extremeley effective for people with diabetes, as the low GI food types are beneficial in minimizing surges in blood sugar amount.

4 1/2 c Berries

1 Bottle fruit pectin

7 c Sugar

1 Lemon

Wash fruit thoroughly. Crush. Add lemon juice. Add grated rind of 1/2 lemon. Add sugar. Mix thoroughly. Heat rapidly to full rolling boil. Stir constantly before and while boiling. Boil hard 2 minutes. Remove from fire and stir in fruit pectin. Skim. The Household Searchlight
