Diet info

The low-cal diet

Rather obviously, the low calorie diet states that if you intend to diet successfully, then you have to eat fewer calories than you need.

Definition of a calorie?
A calorie is a measurement of the energy provided by food. The calorie is the the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at atmospheric pressure. If a meal contains more calories, then it will provide your body with more energy to use when your body burns it.

Examples of low calorie foods include boiled potatoes, red peppers, apricots, steak and burger based meals, and white eggs.
