One of the best elements of travelling is sampling local delicacies, so please don't order a burger and chips when you are in India - not only is the meat likely to be of a poor quality (sometimes so poor that it will make you sick), but you are turning down some of the most wonderful food in the world - and possibly offending your hosts.

Ingredients And Procedures

3 Eggs; well beaten

1 3/4 c Sugar

1 c Oil

2 c Flour; sifted

1 ts Baking soda

1 ts Cinnamon

1/2 ts Salt

1 ts Vanilla

4 md Apples; peel; grate

1 c Walnuts; chopped

Powdered sugar; garnish Mix first 8 ingredients together. Fold in grated apples and walnuts. Bake in greased tube or bundt pan at 350~ for 1 hour. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. -----
